A George II Giltwood Mirror
An outstanding 18th century giltwood mirror.
The broken scrolling pediment centred by a large cartouche with foliate swan neck, scallop shell to the apron flanked by brass candle sconces, the original bevelled plate is remarkable, the mercury plate almost completley "Blued".
Wonderful scale, untouched, rare to find in this condition.
